French Toast

French Toast Breakfast Heart, Topped with Almond Butter, and Banana, plus Egg, and Veggies

I’m not sure I’ve ever made French toast before, but I was pretty sure I knew the basics.

Seeing so many beautiful photos on Instagram (hashtag follow me on Instagram) inspires me to try new things ((and I hope I can do the same for you)).

This (French-ass) toast was made out of a sourdough bread, washed in egg (then cooked on both sides for a couple minutes) ((hashtag, the basics)), then I topped it with almond butter, and sliced banana ((which worked)).

Not to brag, but (I’m about to — because I’ll tell you straight to your face: I don’t know how to cook) this was probably the best thing I’ve ever made.


Protein: One Pasture-Raised Egg from Vital Farms, Almond Butter, Cheese

Veggie: Sautéed Spinach, Onions, Microgreens

Carb: Sourdough Bread, Banana, Tomatoes, Peppers, Olives


+ This meal is refined sugar free (and sugar substitute free), to the best of my knowledge.
